Total Gambler - New Magazine

The magazine, Total Gambler, will be targeted at men aged 18-40 and aims to introduce them to the increasingly popular world of gambling. A guaranteed print run of 650,000 will be given away free with Maxim and other selected Dennis titles from the September issue onwards. Total Gambler is to be the second gambling magazine launched by the publishing company within 18 months, and will build on the success of its predecessor Inside Edge, launched in March 2004. Dennis said it is planning more launches in both print and online and it could see itself developing into a specialist gambling publisher. "We launched Inside Edge 18 months ago and the response from advertisers has been huge," said Richard Downey, publisher of Total Gambler. “They are very keen for mainstream media brands that take online poker seriously. "Total Gambler will bring gambling news and strategy to a mass audience in a light, 28-page entry magazine." Total Gambler will be edited by Stephen McDowell. By Karen Goodchild
